Re: Minifooger rackmounting
You can buy pre-made aluminum rack panels in just about any size. I've seen 1ru, 2ru, 3ru, 4ru, and 5ru for sure. You could then just drill holes for cabling and match up to where the screws go into the minifoogers. That way you don't have to get gross Velcro glue all over your nice Moog pedals. Tr...

…too bad they charge for shipping if you take their 12% discount. So, in the end, you only save about $10.Stuka wrote:With the 12% discount, you can get it for less than $200 at 8th Street Music (8thstreet.com) ...
$219 without the discount vs. $208.88 with the discount.

Re: joystick controller
Does anybody have recommendations for a really good joystick controller for a Voyager XL? I have seen "Cat Stick" discussed, but that seems a bit too rare and expensive (unless somebody tells me its worth it). A related question - is there really any point to a joystick in light of everyt...

Go back to testing it where it did work. Make sure something on it works the way it's supposed to.

Re: CP-251 bottom power supply?
I just relocated the power on mine to the back of the panel... The connector that plugs into the pcb had a dab of hot glue to keep it connected. Do I need to re-hot glue that together? It just sits in my studio. Not gigging with it. That's just to ruggedize it against vibration. If it's really goin...

Re: It can't be said often enough - read the manual!
Oh yeah, that way you can vary how smooth the smoothed sample and hold is at different frequencies. I also learned a couple weeks ago that you can run audio into the input of the sample and hold, clock the sample and hold with a much faster LFO, and the output will be a sample rate reducer (or nyqui...

Isn't Moog supposed to say everything is "limited production" or something to that effect?

Re: It can't be said often enough - read the manual!
The Lowpass Filter cutoff on the smoothed S&H output is proportional to the LFO speed, so you can send CV to the LFO to control the smoothing Filter! This is actually pretty important, as far as I'm concerned. That means your smoothed Sample and Hold will always be smooth at every sampling rate...

You could try it and if it doesn't work you could always take it apart and change the pots out for 50k or 100k.

Re: CP-251 bottom power supply?
May be able to move the top AC plug to the back hole. But having the ability on the other unit to plug in either place is certainly more convenient. Thanks If it's like the old CP-251, the top DC inlet is attached to the PCB inside. You'd be better off getting a second inlet and wiring it in as men...
