I use the Sonuus G2M to control my LPTE with my guitar.
Their i2M Musicport is new & looks particularly cool.

Re: What mixers do you guys use?
I run everything into my Mackie CFX-12.
You can't go wrong with Mackie.
Just remember though, buy a unit with more channels than you think;
you'll use them all up fairly quickly & wish you bought the next unit up.

Re: Moogs in cold weather.... safe?
I'd worry about possible humidity inside caused by the temp change. Problems won't manifest for a while but when it does, you'll not know what started the problems. It won't be a lot of worry this one time but regularly gigged outdoor units can fail prematurely as they heat/cool when exposed to lowe...

Re: Optimal connection between LP and DAW?
I run my LP into a Mackie mixer so I can both:
play through my PA speakers or
route the mix to my firewire audio interface to the computer for recording.

I've got a brand spanking new Akai MPC500 I'd let go for $450.

Re: Analog Sequencer for the Little Phatty?
I see where the Doepfer Dark Time supports 1/2/5V (octaves) but that doesn't state it outputs -5 to +5V that the Little Phatty requires.
What does it mean when a sequencer isn't -5 to +5V?

I'm leaning toward the Manikin Schrittmacher.

Re: Joe Bonamassa/Royal Albert Hall Theremin
I caught him in Seattle 4 or 5 months ago & he used his theremin with his guitar.
He'd swing the neck toward it & back, modulating some kind of other effect.

Re: Why do Moog make ring modulators?
I also thought it'd be difficult to fit a Ring Mod into playing music but the most obvious application is to use it as a tremolo. I like mine set to a dual-mode tremolo of sorts that sounds like: "wah wah - wahwahwah - wah wah", a couple slow wahs then a few fast ones. I use most effects s...

I usually shop at Sweetwater & my rep just puts a special order in for me for any length I want.
I even got a right-angled TRS cable for a tight Boss pedal expression jack application on my board.

Re: Pedal Impedance and "True Bypass"
Besides tone-sucking effects, tone can suffer when an effects-chain isn't properly buffered like a guitar w/passive pickups for instance. Most of the passive true-bypass loopers are best for isolating a chain of effects to minimize tone-loss but if they don't incorporate FET or optical switching, yo...

Check out the Strymon El Capistan Delay. It seems to be the most accurate tape emulator available. It sounds awesome with more control than thought possible! ...on my short list  http://www.strymon.net/products/elcapistan/ http://www.deluxeguitars.com.au/images/pedals/strymon-elcapisan.jpg

Yeah, should be fine.
The only real thing you must remember is to never use guitar or patch cables to connect speakers to amplifiers.
