Re: Controlling Eventide H9 via MIDI on Sub37?
Hey y'all. Pardon my ignorance. I'm loving my Eventide H9 with the Sub37. Awesome delays, verbs, etc. but I'm looking to save myself some time switching between effects presets during songs. Have any of you set up your Sub37 so that it controls an external effects unit? My ideal scenario is to rena...

Re: Sub 37 Editor/Librarian MIDI CC Idea
I'd not mind a little more modulation capabilities. The MOD sections are fantastic, but there's only 2 of them... and they're quickly spent. However, if anything was to be done in this area (and I doubt Moog will do it- I have a feeling they view the S37 as completed), I'd much rather see the money ...

Re: A Duo Mode possibility?
You're right about how it works; the modulators are in firmware and the mixer is controlled by the firmware, so it's indeed doable (provided there's enough CPU power left). Forgot to mention earlier that I already have a couple of patches where I use the filter envelope to control the amplitude of o...

Re: A Duo Mode possibility?
I think that introducing oscillator amplitude envelopes which would have to be be programmed either in the preset menu, or with paging the front panel envelope controls, may be too much of a deviation user interface wise. Then again I'm advocating some additional modulation slots, which would also h...

Re: A Duo Mode possibility?
I'd also like to see this as a per preset option.
Perhaps the suggestion should be added to the wishlist thread?

Re: Sub 37 waveshape oscillator's
... DOes it means that Sub OSC has its own fixed calibration (in effect you could change only the volume) and the other not? But this is exactly what I wasn't to do: changing the OSC 1 and OSC2 parameters in order to arrive to the same wave square of Sub OSC The sub oscillator is most probably deri...

Re: Sub 37 Clock Div Values Skipped with Ext Sync / Tap
I just did some testing with the tap tempo (no MIDI or USB connected). The arpeggiator rate does get quantized, but it also drifts out of sync with the tapped blinking of the SYNC button. I don't know what's going on there, or if I have misunderstood the tap tempo function - I'd have thought that th...

Re: Sub 37 drone mode
In the MIXER section: set both OSC 1 and OSC 2 on make sure the levels for OSC 1 and OSC 2 are turned up (12 o'clock for both is a good starting point) In the OSCILLATOR 2 section set DUO MODE on set KB CTRL off (both LO and HI lights being off) set OCTAVE and FREQUENCY to the desired drone note Pla...

Re: Sub 37 - Keyboard quality and playability
Hi Guys, Andy from Moog Tech Support here!!! ... To all above discussing the tension on the keys of the Sub 37, I have provided this feedback to our engineering department for future revisions of the keyboard, and I am attempting to source lighter tension springs for this keybed. Once I have these ...

Re: Sub 37 OS updates?
We do get a direct link returned for your tracked download, but yeah, it's a bit fiddly to get hold of it depending on your browser and your techy'ness. I agree that a direct link on the Download page would be good, perhaps using the IP address to track the downloads to get a reasonable estimate of ...

Re: Sub 37 OS updates?
... Why only do this for the editor and not for the (older) firmwares and manuals, etc.? It would be nice if at least the latest version of the editor and firmware was mentioned on the download tab, even if they are not directly linked to on the download tab, so it's at least easy for users to chec...

Re: Sub 37 OS updates?
I've also been wondering why the editor and the firmware isn't linked to on the Sub 378 product page. When you register and get the e-mail about the editor, the download link contains what appears to be a unique ID, probably connected to your Sub 37 registration. The only reason I can think of for w...

Re: Sub 37 OS updates?
You need to register your Sub 37 to get a link by e-mail to the 1.2 firmware update and the editor.
