Re: RE: MiniMoog UK Repair (help?)
Ok, cheers.
I am still full of an awful flu bug so it will have to be after then, plus I would not want you to catch it!
I also wanted the PITCH RIBBON on my MultiMoog disengaging if that is something you have done before?

Re: RE: MiniMoog UK Repair (help?)
Wow!
Ok, do you think I would have to leave the machine with you, or can you do it while I wait? I mean, have you heard of this issue before and if so, is it a complex bugger?!
Cheers.

Hi Tom,
Happy New Year mate and I hope the music is going well.
Oh really? I assumed you used an engineer or otherwise. Did you study electronics or just pick it up?
Cheers,
Paul

RE: MiniMoog UK Repair (help?)
Hi folks, My Minimoog Model D (s/n 10,000+) has developed a fault with the MOD WHEEL. It only produces a slight quasi-distortion when engaged (rather than the correct VIBRATO FX). Other than this it seems to be fine. I contacted Rudi Linhard (Germany) but he only performs a full restoration (rather ...

Howdy guys, Well may I present to you my very first MOOG BIG BAND arrangement, painstakingly created by individually stacking in each brass/reed instrument (over 6 x weeks last summer!). Piano and Bass parts were recorded on the Nord Stage 88 and Roland XV5050 (module) respectively. https://www.yout...

Re: Just bought a Model D on eBay...
Hi, then it would be either Paul McCartney or Gary Numan, Mr.Emerson would be the man for that job... possibly Wakeman second...!? :) lol I think Emo has TENDONITOUS so he probably can't even hold a pen! Wakeman is a top guy and emailed me some helpful info when I was looking to buy a Moog. I was or...

Re: Just bought a Model D on eBay...
Hi again, Some interesting points there guys! Just to add a side note, last year I was going to get a couple of internationally established jazz musician friends to SIGN my MiniMoog. I was really tempted and they were playing in my local area in October. But in hindsight, I am very pleased that I di...

Re: Just bought a Model D on eBay...
Hi man, Well I guess there will be two opposite ends of the spectrum schools of thought here! Of course, having the KENTON MIDI KIT (or whichever) fitted will facilitate many useful, time saving and creative events, but some might argue that you have DEFACED the item! Whilst others will view this as...

Well done Spumoni!
Will be the best money you ever spent mate! Fantastic to own a piece of classic history!
Perhaps you can add a Square Wave CLARINET SECTION to my almost completed JAZZY MOOG arrangement?!
Best,
Paul Seaman

Hi Piktor, I am looking forward to hearing your latest project. Good luck with sorting out the video stuff. Have had my head buried in the Cubase manual for the past 4 x months! Not that I need any more damn synths, but I won a KORG POLY 61 a few weeks back for 200 quid off eBay. Its great, but need...

RE: Kloodle (Student & Ex-Student Website)
Hi folks, Having completed a part time college recently, all students were informed about a new- ish site called KLOODLE , and to create a profile on there. The guys who run the site are from Manchester (here in the UK) and I have spent some time this week getting to know them via email and live-cha...

Piktor
I am not sure how long it will take me to learn the CAMTASIA basics! But the recording is done at least.

Re: RE: Mini / Multi - Home Recording (FX)?
Hiya, What I was specifically trying to achieve was to record a jazzy track using the MULTI exclusively. So to not include any other keyboards if possible. In any case, I don't think I will be able to perform what I had originally planned (something like a STAN GETZ solo) and so I am going to have t...
