Re: Sub 37 Presets discussion - Acid Tracks preset - great j

Did you do all of the presets? I'm not a preset guy, but I have to say that the quality of the 37's presets is stellar. I wish there was a patch book for these! I'd pay for that. No. As of the last factory bank i loaded, i think my presets only wound up in Bank 8, and only 14 of those, i think. if ...

Re: Sub 37 Presets discussion - Acid Tracks preset - great j

I spent a lot of time on that so I'm very glad to hear you like it. the Sub37 is so good at "that kind" of sound that I wish I had two ... one to solo on and one to use just for sequencing. the duophonic sequencing aspect incredible as well, another "killer app" of the Sub37. che...

Re: Minimoog Model D Replacement Contact Board

so does glide still work the same with this contact board?

if you crank the glide up, and play from one end to the other and release quickly, does the glide continue while you're not pressing a key or does it hold at the voltage it left at?

Re: Tips for building a modular?

I think I would also get an STG ARP 4072 filter, since they are size and power compatible with the DotCom modules. i'm always flattered to be considered for someone's cabinet. it seems there's a couple of people here in this thread who live near me, relatively speaking. if anyone is in the area and...

as far as the good-idea-ness of playing a Minimoog through an Orange, don't forget that Keith Emerson ran the modular through an Orange stack.

i think that speaks for itself, because Keith Emerson is master of the good idea.

don't ask me which Orange though ... i know NOTHING about that amp line.

Hey Suit and Tie guy... Thanx for the offer, and the info. As far as jammin' goes, I think you're outta my league. After spending 20 years singing and the next 6 messing with the guitar, I'm just getting back to the sweet world of analog synths... And I'm a bit (OK, Very) rusty... I will cer...

Re: Tarted-up Blue Minimoog

Hey, if it helps keep Moog Music in business so that they can continue to bring us new products, who cares if they slap together a Minimoog out of cheddar cheese and call it the Mini-moo (g)? my thoughts exactly. i think it's great that Moog has the 31 flavours of V'ger ... the constant repackaging...

Re: ANYONE USE NUMEROLOGY'S SEQUENCER?

And I've been looking around at sequencing options when I discovered Five12's Numerology. Since I already have the Mac, it sounded like fun for $80... How well does it work? it's awesome. i helped design it. you should come down to Peoria and hang out in my studio with your V'ger and we can rock ou...
