To find out when your Rhodes was built, open the top cover, and on the lower right side, if I recall, there should be 2 pairs of numbers. The first pair is the week number ie, 35 = week 35, the second pair is the year...mine is from October '75...Stage Mk1 baby...favorite instrument in my rig... any...

Using a Roland JC-55 right now, & its pretty awesome...just got a Leslie recently, but its missing the cable adapters for the motors to spin & its extremely hard to find that part, bummer like a mutha. Are the regular Murf filters resonant? I'm using a Clyde Vox Wah right now, but its scratc...

I bought mine for $220 off craigslist in SanFrancisco, where I'm from... Had no legs, no sustain pedal, no lid (for transport). But was able to find those parts pretty easily. Since then, I've learned how to tune and calibrate the tines and pickups to my various tastes. Dude, the Rhodes is so easy t...

Hey yall, anyone out there use Foogers on their Rhodes piano?? I already use the RingMod and Phaser, the Ringmod more so, though... I'm lookin for a new MF to implement. Was thinkin of the LowPass Filter, but now I'm considering a Murf instead. In a full on loud-ass jam session, the Murf on the Rhod...

look, there are many 'sides'.... i thinks its gonna be a poly. either that or something we haven't thought of. 2 much talk of a cheap mono...but it might be a reality if moog wants to broaden their market. i prolly won't get it unless it does something the voyager dont do. i used to think dru...

To me, flanging seems like the inverse of phasing...I know they're very similar in concept & how they operate. Are they both delay based?? I use the Boss Phaser as well as the Moog Phaser and they are vastly different. The Moog is WAAAYYY more mellow and liquidy and less noisy. But the Boss is r...

I'd like to see a drumMachine similar in concept to the TR-909 meshed with the synthesis features on the Vermona DRM mkII... Sort of an analog drum-synth with a SuperDope step sequencer, Moog filters...The Moog Asteroid ...how's that for a name! No screen needed, well I guess there should be one for...

word to drawtippy indeed... digital or not, if you can get into it & have fun & do what you want/need to do, then that's something you want to keep in your sonic palette. Know what I mean?? I have a Boss Phaser which I'm sure is digital, but I get some wicked sh*t outta that green box that I...
