Re: Wave shaping in Minitaur
You can do kind of pulse width modulation on OSC2 if you hard sync it to OSC1 and than modulate its pitch with LFO (or filter ENV). You need to set VCO LFO AMT to affect OSC2 only.

You can control all the under the hood features by MIDI CC messages, you can find the corresponding CC numbers in Manual page 22-24.

Re: CP251 - noise on voltage signal
Hi again, I have stumbled upon some old thread about high pitch whining sound coming from CP-251 when used as audio mixer and it made me think about your problem. I guess it's the same issue. https://forum.moogmusic.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=5441 https://forum.moogmusic.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t...

Re: Dummy Pollychain help
Not sure if you can polychain easily Sub with Minitaurs. Two minitaurs can be polychained together only through USB (they don't have DIN MIDI out connector), that means you will need to have them connected to a computer.

Re: CP251 - noise on voltage signal
OK, how to really hear this. Plug expression pedal into attenuator input. Turn attenuator pot full clockwise. Plug Attenuator out to audio input. (via capacitor if you're worried about DC on your input) As you turn down the attenuator level the sound cuts fairly sharply, but never goes fully away. ...

Re: Minitaur midi display solution
Indeed you can use your MP-201 to do that (which has a display). MP-201 can be configured to send program change message whet its preset is selected.

Re: A simple DAW for Minitaur?
Depends little bit how do you want to sequence it - patterns? or just long piano roll? etc... For linear recording/replaying you could use a free version of Presonus Studio One. If you prefer more sequencer-style workflow, than Numerology is nice (works only on Mac I think). Another quite different ...

Re: Any point in MF trem/ring if you own a MF102??
Old thread but I will add my 2cents for the record. If you are after tremolo effect than MF Trem is better suited that MF102. If you want to build a rig with several interconnected Moogerfoogers than MF102 is more interesting. What I like on MF Trem is that you get a tone control for the wet part of...

Re: Connecting Bass Guitar to Minitaur
Basically what you are getting is a resonant 24db low pass filter for your guitar/bass audio output. You can control from MTR's front panel (or by expression pedal if you set it up): - filter cutoff frequency - filter resonance - lfo speed - lfo shape (hold Glide button and turn the LFO rate knob to...

Re: Connecting Bass Guitar to Minitaur
You can use Minitaur as "pedal" when you connect audio output of your guitar (probably needs to be preamplified) to Minitaur's Audio IN. Than in order to hear the processed sound you will need to latch the envelope by pressing and holding glide and at the same time turning AMP Sustain knob...

Re: CV From Reaktor to Minitaur
Hi,
yes, you can do that - Minitaur has CV inputs. Remember that you need a special audio interface (sound card) in order to generate usable CV from Reaktor (he talks about it in the video at about 3:25).
Cheers.

On Settings page of Minitaur Editor in Global Settings you will find "Load preset mod wh" - that should fix your problem.
