Re: Sub Phatty Clicky Envelopes and Noise
I'm going to go ahead and say I think this is probably normal operation. Mine behaves exactly as described in the original post. If you're putting an oscillator in to a 50 cycles filter though, you're basically filtering out the notes (except for truly subsonic stuff) then cranking a load of gain i...

Re: Has Sub Phatty been abandoned by Moog
Yes Amos, you have been stringing us along for a very very long time, perhaps you should offer all Sub Phatty owners a free upgrade to Sub 37 so we have something that works properly (does it work properly now???). I've had a sub functional ( Sub Skinny perhaps?) Sub Phatty for some time, no support...

Re: Sub Phatty Clicky Envelopes and Noise
Hi Rishi Do you get OSC sound with all at 0 also or just white noise? Does the white noise respond to envelopes too? Perhaps as its a digital envelope we only hear the analog noise when the envelopes open? Still mine is way too loud to be acceptable for a modern synth, my SH101 is a lot less noisy!!...

Re: Sub Phatty Clicky Envelopes and Noise
Ok thanks very much for info! Much appreciated.bichuelo wrote:Well these are various symptoms.
On the noise, I do feel a tiny one but it doesn't sustain.
I can't listen to the OSCs as long as they are on zero value.
Regarding the envelopes, I understand this is the expected behavior.

7th October = Worldwide Stable Software Day
Being exactly 12 months since the latest (beta?) updates for the Sub Phatty were posted here : http://forum.moogmusic.com/viewtopic.php?p=135239#p135239 Plus some time since Amos posted "at least a small update is guaranteed before too long. :)" found here 11 Mar 2015 (7 months ago) http:/...

Re: Update SubPhatty
Did you try contacting Moog via phone? Maybe that will move things along faster. Did finally get an email back from support. Sent me links to same old firmware and plugin listed on website suggesting I needed to update my Phatty. Apologised for sending old links when I questioned if I needed to go ...

Re: Update SubPhatty
When you didn't get a midi signal in/out, had you already adjusted the preferences in Sub Phatty Editor to use MIDI-DIN instead of USB, and chosen the right MIDI interface? I had USB and MIDI-DIN merged in prefs. Using Unitor 8 and could get midi light on Sub Phatty to blink when testing studio in ...

Re: Update SubPhatty
Please update soon! No answer from support, 2 weeks since contact. Sub Phatty works about 20% of the time. Spent most of my majorly rare studio time trying to get it to work this week. Hardware disconnect is very regular. Tried many different USB cables, different ports on Mac Pro 2010 including PCI...

Re: SubPhatty editor troubles (Amos on the case!)
Ok so now I'm getting the hanging note and disconnect.. Updated to the beta firmware and no difference. So I stopped using the editor and have exactly the same issues. Issues seems to USB related for me. Amos if you have newer firmware versions for testing please send to hugo@soundiseverything.com.a...
