Re: Minimoog Voyager PE - Envelope 'Attack' problem
Voyager XL here, serial # is not in the range of affected units, but it's had its analog board repaired once already (for a faulty Pedal/On mod bus). Now it's the VCF Sustain portion of the envelope (and possibly decay but can't tell because no sustain). Got a quote for $45 / half-hour of repair tec...

Re: Sub37 Yellow Keys!
That's unfortunate. I had one key on my Voyager XL turn yellow a few years ago and they promptly sent me a replacement key. I guess an entire keybed is going to cost a bit more for them to replace however.

Re: New Moog Voyager XL
I got my white Voyager XL a few years ago refurb, but it arrived in what can only be described as brand new condition. If I had to pick one desert island synth, it would be the one. It's usually the one synth I turn on in my rig when I want to just doodle and experiment. The Sub 37 sits to the side,...

Re: New Moog Voyager XL
The audio delay moogerfooger, the boost minifooger, and the overdrive minifooger. I have those three tapped into my XL, and those along with the patch bay will open up an entire world of possibilities.

Re: Voyager XL vs Voyager + CP 251/VX 352
Cost was a factor when I went XL, but I got a good deal on one, so it wasn't as much of an issue. I like having it all in one, and didn't even realize about the fact that the XL had more powered mults over the Voyager + external boxes. Also, having the longer keyboard makes it easier to jam out, and...

Re: Voyager Insert Question
I have my MF Boost hard-wired into the insert path of my XL, but my MF Drive I have routed in / out on my mixer (X-32 Rack). I figure I always use the boost to enrich the volume of the XL, but can use the Drive for other synths in my studio as needed.

Re: Voyager CV paranoia
There is an entire world of sounds waiting to be discovered when you start plugging and patching the CV inputs and outputs. One of the sounds I created last year on my XL I later heard on Sasha's Scene Delete album - it was uncanny, but great motivation to explore and create more!

Re: Out of tune - brand new Minimoog Model D
How long did you let it warm up for? My Voyager XL needs at least 5 minutes before it is in tune with the Sub 37. The Sub 37 seems to be almost instantaneously in tune after powering on by comparison.

Re: Sub 37 Audio Rate LFOs
That's been my experience as well - I like to call it pseudo-FM. You can get FM-like tones out of this technique on the Sub 37, but this is one of those things where I think a synth like the Voyager really shines (when folks are asking why stick with Voyager or downgrade to 37, this is the reason wh...

Moogfest 2016
So... is anybody going to Moogfest 2016? It looks like the Engineer tickets are already sold out - I was thinking of doing that since I've never been, and wouldn't mind spending a few hours with some of the coolest synthesizer engineers on the planet. But, I'm not finding a lot to get excited by wit...

I discovered the fix with the latest Animoog and iConnect MIDI 2+ a few weeks ago - thank you for the update!
