Using an Arturia Beatstep for CV
I recently got an Arturia Beatstep for its control voltage output and wondered if anyone here has had luck using one to control a Minitaur. I'm asking because, so far, the pitch control has been way off for me. I know that the minitaur takes a range of 5 volts and the beatstep (I think) outputs 7 bu...

A question about power supply
I have been looking for a relatively cheap analogue drum machine and am considering the MFB-522. It does not ship with a power supply unit, though, so I would have to find one on my own. The website says it needs AC/DC 12V 500mA unstable, but I am not sure what the "unstable" part of that ...

Running audio through CV inputs
Is it possible (or advisable) to run an audio signal through the cv inputs on the back of the Minitaur? I thought I'd ask first, just in case it could cause any damage...

Re: Sound just died on my Minitaur
A belated update, just in case anyone else has had this problem. I exchanged a few emails with tech support at Moog and it turned out the main serial cable inside the synth had become loose. I had to open the thing up and reconnect it, but it falls out easily and you really have to jam it in to make...

Sound just died on my Minitaur
While using my Minitaur I suddenly heard a pop or cut in the sound, and then it stopped making any sound at all. The midi indicator shows that it is receiveing a signal and I have reset the midi channels on it and all midi controllers, to no avail. At the time it happened I was using a midi controll...
