Re: MATRIARCH - reversed color
If this were me, I would consider it only if the buttons were upside down.

Re: Matriarch Main Volume knob / output headroom
This is just a guess, but it could be that the volume is deliberately toned down because of the multiple oscillators possibly overloading the output.

Re: LFO Timing Off. All tips appreciated!
Have you tried turning on key sync for the LFO? It should restart the LFO on each note and might help a bit.

Re: Can the Sub37 do anything the Minitaur can do?
Well, almost. The filter on the Minitaur is based on Taurus filter and while 24db ladder and all is voiced differently than the Sub. You get a more thumping bass out of the Minitaur but you van get very close with the Sub.

Re: How to hook it all up?
It would be most versatile to have the audio from each device go to your interface. A small mixer would do the trick. Demon Dan recommends the passive ART mixer that has 4 inputs; that would do the trick.

Re: Hello fellow Sub 37’ers!
Not with the space, but with the H7. Gorgeous, for example with Black Hole. I would recommend the H7 over the space simply because it does much more than reverb.

DFAM does not have MIDI support of any kind. You sync with CV.

Re: Any quircks or regrets on getting a Subsequent 37?
I own a Sub37, I know the sound very well (and love it). From what I've heard on videos, particularly the Corey Henry one, is that the Subsequent sounds much better in Duo mode. The added headroom really makes a difference there. On the other hand, pushing the filter with the oscillators sounds bett...

Analog synths have the oscillators on all the time. Switch the VCA MODE toggle to EG.

Re: Tips for making the Sub 37 sound like a Model D?
Add a third oscillator. I've used the Werkstatt (modified with MIDI in) and a Mother 32. You'll never get all the way to a D, just like the D will not get all the way to a 37, but you can get close!
