Yep, mine has just arrived too... many thanks guys
UK postage was £2.25, that must work out at quite an expensive mail drop for Moog (x UK Voyager owners that qualified).
Miles better than a sticker too

Re: Minitaur Noisy Audio Out?
Shouldn’t make any difference, you are isolating the MiniTaur from the Ground pin of the USB cable. So even if the cable is shielded the MiniTaur will still be isolated from it.spin wrote:Thanks! It should work also with shielded usb cables?
Hope this works for you

Re: Minitaur Noisy Audio Out?
Hi Spin, From my original post: I was looking into using a USB Isolator for my MiniTaur too, however with a little Internet research I came up with a much cheaper option. Using 19mm (3/4") wide Electricians Insulating tape, I cut a 2mm (3/32") wide strip and placed it in the B end of my US...

Re: Post your latest purchase!!
No programmer though with the JX3P? Shame to spend so much money on upgrades if it doesn't have it. Also not really a fan of the Kiwi overlays...which I could put on my JX3P or Polysix, but...hmmm...an acquired visual taste I guess...like bumper stickers. KiwiTechnics make an excellent Programmer f...

Re: Post your latest purchase!!
My latest purchase came in four parts; a secondhand Roland JX-3P, the KiwiTechnics 3P upgrade kit, new Graphic Overlays and lastly some input from myself and a soldering iron. The Jx-3P was pretty dirty so I stripped it down and gave it a good clean, especially the keys and keybed. 30 years of dust ...

Re: Post your latest purchase!!
I have purchased one of Tom Carpenter’s fine analogue beasts, an Analogue Solutions Leipzig S. Two VCO’s, sub oscillator, low pass ladder filter, two ADSR envelope generators, plenty of modulation options and an 8 step analogue sequencer built in. Next purchase will be a rack and Minitaur Rack Kit I...

Hi Alfredo, give it a go and report back the results for other Phatty users. The modification is easily reversed.
