Re: Moog SUB PHATTY
Maybe a Moog synth with these easier and in-tune (all-the-way-through) oscillators is coming. This was the statement I found confusing. Here you're implying the Sub Phatty oscilators are hard to stay in tune, despite lack of evidence to support that statement. No, I meant that the SubPhatty oscilla...

Re: Moog SUB PHATTY
I got that the SubPhatty's oscillators are "better tuned", let's say, than the ones on the Little Phatty, all the way through the octaves. But the SubPhatty has much less versatility. Am I correct?

Re: Moog SUB PHATTY
Thanks for the answer... Maybe a Moog synth with these easier and in-tune (all-the-way-through) oscillators is coming. Like, say, a well-tempered little phatty. In this case, I'd be in.

Thanks...
So... in poor words, the SubPhatty is actually more versatile than the Little Phatty, it's just got a smaller keyboard? I don't get why it's cheaper then.

Re: Moog SUB PHATTY
Hi guys, I have no real experience with analog synths and when it comes to subtractive synthesis, my English gets much poorer, so I would ask you to clear some stuff out. - I don't get the thing of the SubP keeping the oscillators tuned. it means they detune less easily (but they have to b...

Re: Guitarist needs to shape his soundwaves (MF107 and/or LF
Guys, :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D Thank you all soooo much! You've given me huge amounts of extremely valuable information. This forum is definitely top-notch. I am going to save some more money and go for the Mothership. it looks worth it, it seems to work exactly the way I was thinking about, and its ...

Yes, the EHX MicroSynthhas a lot of features, I think I'll look for a one in demo at the store...
Why should I need the MF101 after the Pigtronix Mothership? Does it do the stuff of the "filter" section of the Microsynth?

Re: Guitarist needs to shape his soundwaves (MF107 and/or LF
:o :o :o @Stiiiiiive Thanks so much for the great explanation!!! Guys, thank you all very much but I think I shall apologize, I haven't been clear in the first time  I do not want to play a synth , am looking for a sound, very much like a moog sound ... Of course there is no "THE" Mo...

Re: Guitarist needs to shape his soundwaves (MF107 and/or LF
Thank you all very much. Actually, I've been watching some demos before asking for your help. Both the EHX MicroSynth and the Pigtronix Mothership get very close to what I am looking for but my doubts are: EHX Micro-Synth: it's not a synth, as it does not feature a VCO, it is a filter, and I've read...

Re: Electric guitar through Little Phatty anyone?
Hola Edoardo! Sure you can plug your guitar into the Phatty. Regarding the FX chain, I would recommend focusing on having the cleanest signal possible injected into the synth, and any other aestethic FX after. When I say "clean" I don't mean "vs. overdriven". You can also send a...

Electric guitar through Little Phatty anyone?
Hello, I would like to know whether it is possible to use the Little Phatty and/or the Slim Phatty as a very big guitar effect (Like if it was a giant moogerfooger, let's say) as I've seen bassists doing that on youtube, and I would like to know at which part of the chain I should put it: before/aft...

Guitarist needs to shape his soundwaves (MF107 and/or LFO)
Hello, I'm an electric guitarist looking for "his" sound. I'm not that much into electronic music, but I think an analog synth/oscillator/waveshaper is what I need to get that square-wave, Moog-like sound I'm looking for. Plus, I'd need also an octave generator. (sub-octave and a...
