Re: XL audio left and right reversed?
Actually, I think it is a "fault," but a minor one. As you suggested, one only needs to swap the output cables, but it should be corrected. Let Moog support know about this. If it's a software issue, they could correct it in the next update.

Re: XL audio left and right reversed?
I thought maybe this was the Coriolis effect.
I hadn't played with the pan control until now and I'm getting the same results you are:
+2.5V = left speaker/right headphone
-2.5V = right speaker/left headphone
Good observation

Moog Paul Vo Collector's Edition for trade
I know this is a long shot, but I figure it doesn't hurt to ask. I've got a Scarlet Flame Top Moog Paul Vo Collectors Edition that is not getting played and would be interested in an equitable trade. I'd be interested in any of the following: poly synth, Voyager RME, Minitaur, or Foogers. The PVCE i...

Re: Is it publicly known how many Voyager XLs have been sold
My SN is on the back of the panel, in the lower left hand corner. It's kind of hard to see unless the control panel is vertical.red wrote:Where can I find the serial number? (in the delivery papers is # 220 noted...)

Re: Frequency Dial and Digital Display Query
I've got a new XL and the frequency position varies a bit on the #2 and #3 frequency dials. At 12 o'clock one shows a digital value of -4 and the other is -1. I'm sure it has to do with slight variation in the mounting of the encoders. I think what you're seeing is to be expected.

Re: Amplifier (I have a problem)
I'm new to this, but here's what I'd try: 1) Does it work with headphones? 2) Remove all cords except power and audio out. Any change? 3) Plug a TRS cord in the 'Mixer Out/Filter In' jack and remove it. Any change? 4) Power the unit off, wait 15 seconds, and then turn it back on. Any change? 5) Call...

Re: Temporary dead key
According to the label on the box it shipped from Moog to the dealer in March of this year, so I'd think it should be pretty current. I'll make sure to report back here with the findings.

When it happened the first time I had a M-Audio UNO attached, but nothing was connected when it happened today.

Re: Temporary dead key
I feel like I'm talking to myself, but just in case someone else ever runs across this, I thought I'd include my findings. The dead key problem happened again today and hitting the "Master" button worked. One other note, in order to enable this function, you have to set MIDI PANIC FUNC = Y...

Re: Temporary dead key
I should have done a little more research before posting my question. I found a thread from 2010 that talks about dead/on keys and apparently it's a known issue. Someone recommended hitting the "Master" button. I didn't know to try this when it happened, but I will next time. http://www.mo...

Temporary dead key
I've been experimenting with the presets and controls of the Voyager off and on all day long. This evening while scrolling through the presets the 4th G stopped working (all other keys were fine). I didn't have the presence of mind to look at the midi stream to see what was happening and instead pow...

I had the same thought right after I posted this. You're right, foot pedal/switch would be best.Gladmarr wrote:I've always thought it would be nice if the foot pedal could control the Vo Power strength. That way you could control it without your hands.

Would it be possible to add a Vo Power On/Off switch?
Would it be possible to add a switch to turn off/on the Vo power without having to turn the knob. I'd like the ability to turn it off while playing without pausing to turn the knob. The mode selector could be replaced with a 4 position switch, i.e. Off - Full - Controlled Sustain - Mute. Or, if nece...
