That's what I am doing right now to get around this, but I would have definitely preferred that the mix knob worked in that way - even at 0% mix, the HF is rolled off on the original signal.

Wow, okay so I completely blanked on the Local setting. The weird thing is this: only the cutoff and resonance seem to be impacted by the local setting being on. I just brought home a Freq Box and this is definitely happening to me as well. I like this box, but I do wish it didn't roll off the high end like this. Never mind - it's definitely busted. I've been experimenting with all of the knob modes, and the only one that works reliably is Snap. Both Track and Pass Thru are behaving erratically, and Pass Thru barely works at all. So it's back to the factory for this unit
